LIVING IN THREE WORLDS
About me
Living in Three Worlds
Since 2021, I have been inspired by a dynamic life across three worlds: the Caribbean, Europe’s largest ashram in Germany, and my chosen hometown, Berlin. This lifestyle offers enriching diversity and opens new horizons. The contrasts between different continents, cultures, and traditions—ranging from tropical nature to meditative retreats and urban activity—provide a wealth of impressions, encounters, experiences, and perspectives. The essence crystallizes: the illusion of perceived securities fades, and the focus shifts to the present moment, where life reveals its fullness in every breath.
My Journey:
From an early age, I felt a deep connection to music and dance. Dance therapy and contemporary dance were my paths to navigate crises. The harmonious integration of bodywork with emotions and thoughts ignited my passion.
Daily rituals for body awareness, meditation, and movement have since become integral to my life. During my foundational training in Shiatsu in Berlin in 2003, I discovered my talent for massage and energy work. Over the past 20 years, I have established myself as a movement therapist, yoga instructor, dance educator, and massage therapist, working with people of all ages in clubs, studios, health insurance companies, and for the Berlin Senate. Theva Touch and Theva Move were born.
Due to sports injuries, I faced temporary movement restrictions. This prompted me to delve deeper into astrology to understand who we are and when and why significant life events occur. I sought not only psychological explanations but found the answers I needed in the synthesis of psychology and astrology. Psychological astrology reveals a complex reflection of our inner processes. Harmony and conflict in interpersonal relationships are mirrored in horoscopes, while transits indicate profound life changes. Since 2018, I have been working as an astrological consultant, guiding individuals on their journey toward self-discovery and personal development.
In my first meditation session at the Berlin Za Zen Dojo in 2017, I realized how uncontrollable my thoughts were. I experienced discomfort during the practice, which only subsided through years of regular meditation under professional guidance.
I have learned from various teachers and support individuals in their pursuit of inner calm and serenity with deep joy and dedication. I intuitively adapt the methods of each meditation form and breathing technique to the individual’s needs.
The practice and training in IBSR – Investigative-Based Stress Reduction – known as The Work of Byron Katie – made me recognize the perspective shift as a powerful tool for immediate stress relief. Since then, I have successfully examined stress-inducing thoughts and beliefs. Every questioned thought using this meditative and effective method—be it a misconception, a traditional belief, an expectation, a concept, or a judgment—brings us closer to our true essence.
Further training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) by Marshall Rosenberg has also greatly enriched my life. NVC highlighted the importance of empathetic communication and conflict resolution on a deeper level. Considering the underlying needs in conflict situations is a central aspect. By focusing on recognizing and addressing these needs, we can interact more effectively and lovingly with ourselves and others.
With a benevolent attitude, NVC creates space for authentic encounters and supports the development of relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. Nonviolent Communication offers a valuable tool for overcoming conflicts and engaging in constructive and enriching dialogue. For me, the willingness to approach conflicts in a way that fosters growth and connection is commendable.
